The Good Feet Store is searching for an energetic, results-oriented Marketing Manager for Corporate Retail to drive store traffic and sales across our corporate markets and stores. The Marketing Manager for Corporate Retail will work closely with the Marketing Director for Corporate Retail to drive corporate retail traffic and sales through effective local marketing strategies, plans, and activations. We are hiring immediately for this role to help drive traffic and sales growth across our current 20+ locations, spanning southern California, Arizona, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana. We have plans to open another 10-15 store locations over the next 18 months. Our corporate-operated locations are the leaders and innovators of our franchise system of more than 200 stores.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with Marketing Director for Corporate Retail and applicable agencies to create short- and long-term local marketing plans for all corporate retail markets and stores
- Develop local partnerships and referral sources (e.g. medical, fitness, adjacent retail) to drive store traffic and sales
- Work with marketing contacts to establish, review, and approve new store opening marketing plans to drive new store growth and meets required spends and tactical mix
- Monitor and track progress and timeline for new store openings. Track presale/grand opening marketing tactics and spends for all stores owned by us
- Create, review, and provide reporting via in-house data platform; provide strategic recommendations by DMA based on performance analysis
- Coordinate and review, and approve (with involvement of Marketing Director) all artwork for local marketing materials, to ensure Good Feet guidelines are being followed
- Responsible for ensuring that the brand is appropriately represented in any media integrations, including local media and sports sponsorships
- Manage and communicate with marketing contacts daily via email, calls, and/or face-to-face meetings
- Travel to and assist in setup and presentation of marketing meetings in each DMA as well as attending agency meetings
- Facilitate (and oversee as appropriate) special projects, such as certain TV integrations, the Annual Franchise Conference, as well as creation of new marketing materials for implementation at the local level
- Work with PR agency to assist with local store communications, to customers and with regard to press releases as well as coordinating PR for local grand openings, store remodels, promotions, co-op sponsorships, etc.
- Coordinate closely with retail team leadership in each DMA on on-the-ground knowledge, operation integrations with marketing, and in-store extensions of marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with franchisees on the Franchisee Association’s Marketing Committee
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
- 5+ years’ Marketing experience
- Agency experience (e.g. creative, media) preferred
- Experience in franchising preferred
- Experience with data analysis tools, including Salesforce, Tableau and Upper Quadrant, preferred
- Ability to analyze data and apply findings accordingly
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibits confidence, ease, and flexibility working in a fast-paced, ever-changing, deadline-driven environment
