America’s #1 Arch Support Company is growing, and we are looking for the best!  The Good Feet Store is searching for an energetic, results-oriented Human Resources Generalist to manage and oversee our retail corporate store personnel.  The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for ensuring a compliant, inclusive, fair, and efficient business operation.  They will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us to strategize and plan important functions, such as recruiting, onboarding, training, payroll, compensation and benefits.  They will serve a retail store population of 100+ employees and growing, and report to the Director of Human Resources.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Onboarding/ Offboarding-Conduct New Hire Orientations and Exit Interviews. Report and address any critical information obtained during the exit interview as well as any observed trends with HR leadership and Retail leaders.
  • Recruiting-Partner with Talent Acquisition team to coordinate new hire paperwork, I-9 verification, and new hire orientations.
  • Employee Relations-Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues and ensure that HR leadership is involved in all warranted issues. Attend local unemployment claim hearings, lead and conduct HR investigations (i.e. discrimination, harassment, wage and hour discrepancies, etc.). Ensure consistency of disciplinary documentation prior to delivery.
  • Performance Management-Assist management with the timely completion of annual performance evaluations. Initiate 360 feedback survey results for Providers. Gather 360 feedback results, productivity, clinical measures, and ranking statistics to send to Clinical Team Leaders. Generate and analyze reports to ensure submittal by established deadline.
  • HRIS-Process employee status changes in HRIS, including site transfers, promotions, compensation changes. Collaborate with payroll. Serve as the HRIS expert and assist in training new and current employees on our platform.
  • Worker’s Compensation-Complete all facets of the workers comp claim process to include communication with insurance carrier and employee. Maintain OSHA 300 log and work closely with HR leadership and Safety department to identify injury trends.
  • Reasonable Accommodation-Oversee interactive process and ensure legal compliance with accommodation requests. Partner with HR leadership on leave of absence requests that overlap with ADA and/or Workers Compensation.
  • Compensation-Partner with HR leadership to analyze and address pay discrepancies. This includes reviewing merit increases and bonus recommendations, new hires and internal equity concerns, and wage adjustments.
  • Benefit Administration-Act as the local liaison between employees and our Benefits team serving as a resource to answer all benefit- related questions. Host Open Enrollment meetings and assist employees with benefits enrollment.
  • Compliance-Ensure compliance with policies, EEO, FLSA, Federal and State Laws.
  • Event Coordinating & Employee Recognition-Assist and participate in planning employee appreciation events, such as holiday parties, town hall meetings, and annual retreat.
  • Communication-Communicate personnel changes via employee memos. This includes but is not limited to: Promotions, restructuring, and the exit of employees.
  • Safety-Help coordinate safety initiatives with Retail Leaders to identify injury trends and assist in future prevention.
  • Training & Development-Partner with L&D team to conduct various HR trainings and coaching sessions with management and staff on any of the above mentioned subject areas.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, retail industry preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed

Compensation: $78,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
